The Ironside downhole motor incorporates industry leading power and heavy duty bearing sections built for extreme durability and maximum torque. Using specifically selected components based on real-time data along with the ability to change a manufacturing design with a state of the art 3D printer, this positive displacement motor produces optimum reliability. As well as maintaining a power output with maximum efficiency for today’s well intervention and thru-tubing demands.
Ironside’s design is tailored for planned well intervention, whether high temperature, low bottom whole pressure or aggressive fluid application including nitrogen, soap and foam, air, water and mud. The high performance Ironside motors are now fully established within our fleet, having successfully performed numerous thru-tubing and drilling jobs.

M3 Features include: Positive displacement motor which produces optimum reliability and stabilization while drilling out plugs. Power output with maximum efficiency for today’s thru-tubing demands.
Ironside’s M3 motors have an upper radial for better stability while drilling plugs.
All motors are DYNO Tested in house and supplied with a test certificate to measure performance data and ensure motor performance is maintained.
The M3 comes in 3 3/8”, 3 1/8”, and 2 7/8” and configurations to assure the motor can operate for any job.
Ironside’s M4 motors.
M4 Features include: The upper radial as well as a transmission designed for the abuse of the agitators being used today. Typical agitators using rotor configuration are perfect for the M3. Those agitators using a water hammer effect to reach long laterals require a transmission designed for the hard hitting effect. Ironside’s new transmission is designed to take that punishment. Testing in The Bakken Formation and in Oklahoma has proven to reduce damage to the motor allowing completion of the job with minimal repairs.
M4 motors come in 3 3/8”, 3 1/8”, and 2 7/8”.
